St. Matthews Street Festival

May 19th, 2012
Time: 11 a.m.-10 p.m.

The St. Matthews Area Chamber of Commerce Merchant Council is proud to present St. Matthews Annual Street Festival. This is a day-long festival held on Frankfort Avenue between Lexington Road intersection to Bauer Ave.  The Festival will highlight the community’s business, history, cuisine and style, showcasing the area’s retailers, restaurant, live entertainment and much more. Family fun and activities include the Kidz Zone and Wellness Fair.

The St. Matthews Street Festival is looking for vendors who have something special, unique or delicious to share with people of Metro Louisville. Do you showcase beautiful pieces of art? Create clever crafts? Import fabulous treasures? Package gourmet treats?  Provide unique services? What would your business showcase?  All businesses are encouraged to participate!

St. Matthews Annual Street Festival is replacing the Annual Community Festival in Brown Park.

Halloween in Brown Park

Date: Saturday before Halloween
Time: 11:00AM - 2:00PM

This special event in October is a community favorite, attracting over 3000 children and countless adults – and best of all, it’s FREE, too! The festival offers music, games, and attractions such as hayrides, petting zoo and trick-or-treating through our “haunted forest.” Children and families meander through the park collecting goodies from the businesses which are set up along the way, awaiting the little “ghosts” & “goblins” with treats and surprises.
