About SMABA

The St. Matthews Area Business Association has been serving the community for 50 years. An initial meeting was held on Tuesday, August 9, 1955 at Canary Cottage, and the formal organization of such an association was unanimously authorized. A short time later, a meeting was set up to draft a constitution and bylaws; select officers and formulate a program of activity in the community. SMABA was developed to promote and protect businesses just like yours.

As the largest Business Association in the Metro Area, SMABA is a powerful and effective business ally, full of resources, opportunities and synergy. It delivers greater benefits than ever before.
